This insurance program has been specifically designed for U.S.-based teams, leagues and associations conducting youth or adult amateur sports activities on premises that are not owned or operated by the sports organization. Coverage provided under this program includes important liability protection for the organization, including its employees and volunteers, for liability claims arising out of its operations. In addition, medical payments for participants and legal liability to participants coverage is also available on-line for most sports. Optional equipment coverage is also available.
Commercial general liability coverage protects the insured against liability claims for bodily injury and property damage arising out of premises, operations, products and completed operations, and personal and advertising injury. Hired auto and employers' nonownership liability coverage is also provided as a part of this program. This coverage is provided for both Class A and Class B sports. Class B sports are also provided with legal liability to participants, professional liability, and medical payments for participants coverage.
Medical payments for participants coverage is provided on an excess basis, responding after all other medical coverages available to the participant have been exhausted. If no other coverage exists, the coverage becomes primary. A $100 deductible applies to each claim and benefit period is two years from the date of the accident. Note: Commercial general liability coverage is the only coverage provided on this site for sports that are considered Class A. Optional Equipment Coverage provides coverage for sports equipment, field maintenance equipment, concession stand equipment (excluding products) or small storage sheds that you own. This coverage is for loss or damage to your equipment due to fire, theft, vandalism or other covered causes (subject to the actual policy terms and conditions). You must insure the full replacement cost of all your supplies and equipment to avoid a co-insurance panalty at the time of loss. Minimum coverage limit is $3,350. A $1,000 deductible applies to each claim. If the total insured value is greater than $100,000, a higher deductible will apply. Coverage is not available on a stand-alone basis. You must have coverage for your team league or association with our Amateur Sports Program.
